Leaving the province of Quebec was a big step for my family and I. As native French speakers with no knowledge of Toronto or the market in general, it was very hard to get started. We needed a house in the central Toronto area at a reasonable price. The house prices in Toronto are very different and much higher than in Quebec. Shawn was able to serve us in French and find us a house in the Dufferin and steeles area at a very reasonable cost. It is close to major streets and provided a 35 minute commute to my new office. We were introduced via mutual friend at a BBQ (thanks Sara), I was telling Shawn how my current agent just wasn’t showing me anything I either liked or could afford. Working with Shawn made something that was a bit scary at first, seem like nothing at all. As a first time buyer, I knew nothing at all regarding real estate.
